Modem Broked…

I hate having to cancel a show for whatever reason, and this case is exceptional being that our lovely brand new modem, barely a year old has ‘sort of’ died… in a ‘we wish it would just die and get it over with’ manner. To be honest with you, dial-up would be nice compared with the service we’re not getting at the moment…

With that said, this post was made when the modem decided to behave. It may behave in the morning for Sundays show, it might not. However, there’s been a new modem sent out anyway – which, if it’s anything like the last modem, will provide hours, if not DAYS of endless fun…

For the meantime, because of the current situation here, I will attempt a broadcast – follow me on twitter for any possible updates and don’t forget facebook too…

Whatever, I’ll endeavour (should it be that a broadcast fails to happen) to upload a podcast later in the week – if possible (Depending on when new modem arrives, how long it takes to register and if the old modem can hold its own for a little longer)

There’s no easy way out of this and it’ll mean that by the end of the week, we’ll have ourselves a second dead modem on our hands… which, if you know me well enough by now, it’s kettles I kill!

For now though, just remember there are TWO shows left. 22nd November and 6th December (which might get changed, but hey, we do post advance notices where possible)

So, if you’re reading this and want to listen – take a shot… one of us has to be lucky! Pass word on to other listeners (if applicable) and just remember, modem problems can affect anyone – it just so happens to be our turn again – although, if you fancy a turn, we don’t mind at all. It would be nice if it was someone else…

NEXT SUNDAYS SHOW – IMPORTANT (hence the capitalisation)

October 25th 2009, Summertime officially ends in the UK and Europe and we’ll have to adjust our clocks accordingly by putting them back one hour. The USA though, don’t alter their clocks until the following week.

What does this mean?

It means that next Sundays show will be at the EARLIER time of 11am. This is for one week only. One show. One broadcast.

The time change however for next weeks show does NOT affect listeners in the US.
